Event Space
Our event space at Waiora is a warm, welcoming environment designed to bring people together. With flexible layout options, and a calm, contemporary aesthetic, it’s the perfect setting for workshops, team meetings, creative gatherings, and community events.
The event space can hold approximately 50 people, the room can be divided by a floating wall that offers privacy and a smaller dynamic of 12-16 people boardroom style.
Whether you're hosting a one-off event or a regular series, the space is adaptable to suit your needs, offering access to amenities, a supportive team, and the unique Waiora atmosphere that fosters connection and collaboration.
Puehuehu & Otumuheke
Puehuehu and Otumuheke are medium-sized meeting rooms at Waiora, each comfortably accommodating around six people. These versatile spaces are ideal for team meetings, client catch-ups, small workshops, or focused group sessions.
Both rooms offer a quiet, professional setting and can be equipped with TVs, whiteboards, or other resources on request, making them flexible and functional for a range of needs.
Named after local geothermal features, Puehuehu and Otumuheke reflect the natural flow, warmth, and connection of the whenua.
Whether you're planning a strategy session or a creative brainstorm, these rooms provide the perfect balance of comfort and productivity.
Onekeneke & Taharepa
Onekeneke and Taharepa are our smaller meeting rooms at Waiora, each designed to suit up to four people, perfect for one-on-one sessions, interviews, or quiet, focused work. Though compact, these spaces are thoughtfully set up to support productivity in a calm, private environment.
The names Onekeneke and Taharepa are inspired by local whenua and waterways, reflecting the deep cultural and environmental connections within our community.
These rooms offer a meaningful and peaceful space to think, meet, or collaborate in a more intimate setting.
